Arshdeep Singh

Arshdeep is a graduate of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata and has his professional roots in Marketing and Branding. He presently runs a Branding & Design Studio called Kwa:zi and spends most of his time building brands for his clients. A keen observer of human behaviour, he finds deep interest in the socio-political manifestations of society. By initiating The Sikh, he hopes to give spiritual and philosophical thinking the pedestal it deserves.
Jasmit Singh

Jasmit Singh is a businessman from Kolkata with a philosophical bent of mind. He is an alumnus of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. He believes he shall always be a student and has heightened interests in religious philosophies from across cultures. With a knowledge spanning Sikh scripture and practices, he works to bring the in-depth facilitation of applying scripture to everyday practice.
Paavani Singh
Associate Editor
Paavani is a graduate of Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University where she completed her English Hons. She followed it up with two consecutive Master's Degrees from King's College London and Jawahar Lal Nehru University respectively. Her degrees are in Performing Arts and Arts & Aesthetics. She manages the Visual & Art Direction for The Sikh Magazine. Her interests include poetry, literature and an amalgamation of different art forms.

Ipsita Chatterjee

Ipsita Chatterjee is a Research Associate at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. She has been an Adjunct Faculty and MPhil scholar at Christ University, Bangalore. She pursued her Bachelor’s in Sociology from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, and Master’s in Sociology from Presidency University, Kolkata. Ipsita is currently working on a project on migration and government welfare schemes. Her research interests include qualitative analysis, oral histories, migration and cultural studies.
Reema Anand

Ms Reema Anand is a published author and columnist and has written for various publications such as ‘The Outlook’, ‘The Indian Express’, ‘Hindustan Times’, ‘Times of India’ amongst others. Her extensive knowledge and deep engagement with Sikh literature and practice has inspired her to author and translate several books and also make films on Punjab and Sikh history. Her notable works include Scorched White Lilies of '84 and Rehras, Evensong: The Sikh Evening Prayer with Khushwant Singh.
Shiv Rahul Chopra

Mr. Shiv Rahul Chopra is a businessman with a formidable legacy in literature and philosophy. He continues to forward the as erstwhile Editor for the St. Xavier's College Alumni magazine - We Xaverian and later the Punjab Mail, a monthly publication focussing on the Punjabi diaspora in Kolkata. He guides The Sikh Mag in its direction for the future, taking great inspiration from his grandfather Dr Hiralal Chopra, a scholar (with inspired work on Sikhism) and writer of great fame.

Dr. Rupinder Kaur

Dr. Rupinder Kaur is a graduate of Loreto College Kolkata. She then read at Punjabi University Patiala where she topped the MA English Exams in 1979. After completing her MPhil with an O Grade she did her Ph.D. in 1981 on Faith and Doubt in the poetry of Robert Browning. She subsequently joined the Dept of English as a Research Assistant in 1989 where she taught for 36 years and retired as Head of Dept. She is deeply interested in literature and is now entering the sphere of Sikh Studies.
